Family afternoon activities for ASCape families
We next welcome ASCape families on the 21st June 2025 for a fun afternoon of nature-based activities
21st June is the Summer Solstice – a time for celebrating the Sun and the life it brings! The activities will be based around the theme of the Sun, Nature and the Summertime (whether or not the weather decides to play ball!).

Family event for our Jurassic Multicultural families
Our next event will be on 22nd September 2024 - a fun afternoon of nature-based activities hosted by Thriving Wild in partnership with the Jurassic Multicultural Network.

After picnicing together, there will be different activities and crafts for all to enjoy, with a break for campfire snacks and storytelling along the way. Examples of activities we may get up to: making dens, swinging in hammocks, weaving willow bird feeders, making elder beads, painting flags, playing games, drinking tea, exploring and relaxing! Whilst plans will change according to the weather, we hope to have a fun afternoon rain or shine! (In more extreme weather, we may need to postpone).
