Next family event for our Jurassic Multicultural families on Sunday 26 July 2026.
This event is especially for families from mixed heritage and minority ethnic backgrounds living in West Dorset. Come and enjoy an afternoon of food, nature, play and connection in a beautiful field near Askerswell.
Bring a picnic (or something to share if you'd like!) and enjoy nature activities, butterfly exploring, crafts, stories around the fire, games, and plenty of time to relax, play and connect.

Join us for a magical afternoon of nature-based fun in our beautiful field. A wonderful opportunity for autistic and socially anxious children and their families to enjoy the outdoors in a relaxed and supportive environment.
Families can enjoy:
🌸 Hapa zome flower and leaf art
🦋 Butterfly spotting
🔥 Making a fairy fire
🧑🎨 Clay creations using natural materials
🕯️ Floating candles and summer wishes
🌳 Hammocks, swings, and time to relax in nature
We'll gather around the fire circle, enjoy storytelling and snacks, and spend the afternoon exploring, creating and connecting together.
