Family events for our Jurassic Multicultural families

Our next event will be on 22nd September 2024 - a fun afternoon of nature-based activities hosted by Thriving Wild in partnership with the Jurassic Multicultural Network

🌿Spending time together 🌿meeting new people 🌿sharing food 🌿having fun

After picnicing together, there will be different activities and crafts for all to enjoy, with a break for campfire snacks and storytelling along the way. Examples of activities we may get up to: making dens, swinging in hammocks, weaving willow bird feeders, making elder beads, painting flags, playing games, drinking tea, exploring and relaxing! Whilst plans will change according to the weather, we hope to have a fun afternoon rain or shine! (In more extreme weather, we may need to postpone).

Book a place for your family here.  Please bring a picnic with you for you and your family.

We look forward to welcoming you😊

Our thanks to Dorset Council for funding these events.

"Let's talk about Climate Change" project with the children of Burton Bradstock primary school

In partnership with the National Trust and Oops Wow Messy Art, we are piloting a series of classroom and beach sessions on the subject of climate change and the  changes to our coast line.  We will be using art, imaginative ideas and positive messaging to engage the children in safe, fun and empowering ways.

We will share some news about this project as it unfolds!
